Anna Jacobs
Anna Jacobs has had a varied career in theatre production, singing, charity fundraising and latterly heading the business development and marketing department of a big city law firm for eight years. In 2010 she retrained as an Interior Designer at Chelsea College of Art & Design short courses, setting up her own successful Interior Design Company.
Anna Jacobs Design specialises in Interior Design for domestic interiors. Projects range from full redecoration, including the sourcing of all furniture, fixtures and fittings, to design and style consultancy and bespoke furniture adaptation. Recent clients include the founder and owner of Komodo, the global ethical fashion label, actor Jerome Flynn, actor Adam Morris and architectural and interiors photographer Timothy Soar. Anna currently has a waiting list which includes two London Kitchen projects and a three bedroom Victorian house in London.
Anna also teaches as a guest tutor on the Interior Decoration Short Courses at Chelsea College of Art & Design, while also pursuing a career as an Artist which greatly informs her Interior Design practice. Mentored by the acclaimed painter Trevor Bell (a leading member of the younger generation of St. Ives artists), with several solo and group shows she has also launched a line of greeting cards, now sold in London, Spain, Italy and California. While recently a London home accessories and gift shop has asked Anna to design a capsule range of lampshades and cushions inspired by her paintings.
